openXJV is a free display program for XJustiz files that are used for file / data transfers between courts, lawyers, agencies, etc. in Germany’s EGVP-System.
This is relevant, for example, for viewing files of the Federal Employment Office (BA), since they are provided as individual files with an accompanying XJustiz data set.It is also suitable for displaying any XJustiz dataset used for “document transmission” via beA, eBO, beN, etc.
openXJV was developed because there was no cross-platform display solution available at the time of the project launch.
Currently I provide an AppImage for Linux as well as a classic installer for Windows at https://openXJV.de and on Github. A version for macOS is planned.
openXJV supports the XJustiz standard in versions 3.3.1, 3.2.1 and 2.4.1. The most important data types and structures are supported – however, a complete and absolutely error-free display cannot be guaranteed. Specialized procedures (Fachverfahren) are not supported.
openXJV is therefore a:
- … display program for Xjustiz files
- … free Xjustiz viewer
- … Xjustiz Viewer for Linux (Ubuntu, Suse, Fedora, etc.)
- … Program to open xjustiz-nachricht.xml
